The SWHS Lakers Cheer Boosters are volunteer cheer parents who donate their time and distribute booster funds to help promote and support the Minneapolis Southwest High School Lakers Cheer program.
Through booster fees, organized fundraisers, and business sponsors, the SWHS Lakers Cheer Booster is able to assist in various costs throughout the season such as cheer scholarships, essential apparel for scholarship recipients, competition fees, new equipment, team dinners, the coach stipend, and the end-of-the-season banquet.
All cheer parents are expected to pitch in throughout the season, whether it's coordinating a team dinner, lending a hand with fundraisers, assisting with their amazing DJ skills at competitions, or helping with the end-of-the-season banquet. We are all in this together!
